Jacob D. Dawson received a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Dakota College of Arts and Sciences in 2014 after having majored in the field of chemistry with a minor in biology. In the spring of 2017 he received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of South Dakota School of Law and was admitted to practice law in South Dakota in the summer of 2017.
After receiving his law degree, he worked with the now retired Thomas Issenhuth, and joined the Lammers Kleibacker law firm in February of 2018, and was welcomed as a partner in January, 2020. Jacob completed an internship in the Madison area as a law student, and through his internship and practice experience has represented clients in business transactions, contract disputes, probate, divorce and custody issues, criminal proceedings, real estate matters as well as civil litigation as both a plaintiff’s and defendant’s counsel. Jacob’s primary areas of study in law school were in civil litigation, business transaction and organization, and criminal defense and procedure. |
